For maximum warmth with minimal weight, this incredibly light Mountain Hardwear Phantom 0degF sleeping bag is ideal for alpinists and backpackers preparing for a winter's nap. Performance mummy cut features a snug overall fit that positions the down insulation close to the body, maximizing warmth and minimizing weight without restrictiveness. Phantom provides extra room at the elbows and hips, and reduces volume around the head and from hips to knees. 3/4-length zipper enhances weight savings. Insulated with superior European 800-fill-power goose down, blended and lab-certified in the United States. High-tenacity nylon shell is lightweight and tear resistant; fabric is treated with a Durable Water Repellent finish to repel moisture. Box baffle construction creates maximum loft with minimum weight; 5-in. baffle width keeps down from shifting and prevents cold spots. Warmth is optimized through differential cut of shell and lining fabrics, allowing the goose down adequate room to expand to its full loft. Insulated draft tube isn't sewn through and extends to bottom of bag to eliminate cold spots. Multi-baffled, tailored hood lies close along the sides of neck and face for easy warmth. Ergonomic collar drapes comfortably over neck and shoulders, sealing out drafts; no need to cinch it unless it's close to bag's temperature limits. When it's cold enough to cinch down hood, face gasket makes hood closure more comfortable and effective. Shape of Multi-baffle Comfort Foot Box allows feet to rest naturally; it also preserves loft and allows down to drape close to feet for warmth. Full-length zipper with 2-way locking sliders stay in place for ventilation when bag is partially unzipped; snag-guards keep fabric from catching in zipper. Insulated zipper gusset seals in heat at base of zipper. Comes with stuff sack and mesh storage bag.
