I LOVED LOVED LOVEDDD the Dead Sea! The water was ridiculously warm though but the mud bath and floating experience made me want to stay in there for forever lol. My legs stayed smooth for a good week afterwards

@gearupandplay Interesting post, though I wouldn’t count “Lake Bled” and “High Tatras” as cities…

I must say I love sunset cruises; the sun set can make any setting so much more romantic. Where is your favorite place to watch the sun set?
Here’s a link with ideas for a few nice sunset cruises I recommend

Halloween is not celebrated in the Philippines as a national undertaking but since the Philippines has affinity to western traditions and due to our colonial past it is celebrated in private enterprises and in certain subdivisions they have trick or treat activities. There is a traditional equivalent though that usually happens in the provinces on…[Read more]
I’m planning on working that into one of my posts this month. It’s not part of Mexican tradition either, but the kids here got wind of it and who wouldn’t want to dress up and get free candy. Timing-wise it runs right up with Day of the Dead (which is actually two days), so if a kid is really ambitious, they can get away with…[Read more]
elmer’s right we reallly don’t have the trick or treat thing but malls nowadays do that to attract more customers. lol but id love to go to a costume party, never been to one. yeah, i know, im such a loser! hahaha
Very interesting guys, so much like Day of the Dead as Jenny mentions it’s much a remembrance of the departed. I can’t wait to read more of these spooky eerie tales guys. Loved your first one Elmer! Your not a Loser Wynna! What would you dress up as if you did go to a costume party?
Thanks Michael for liking the post. Can I do a video blog for my next one? I will do a video interview of the Filipino equivalence of western folklore characters like vampires, werewolves, etc.
Absolutely, include a little text on the page about what your video will cover so it perhaps ranks a little better in the search engines and readers know what the video will be about. Just let us know and we can manually approve it even though it won’t have the character limit
Cool. I will get right on to it!
Hey Wynna, why don’t you have a costume party at the resort you’re working at? That would be fun. Incidentally I’m planning a trip to Bohol on the week of the 22nd October. What’s your rate like then?
@bedouindreamer: that’s a fab idea elmer, i’ll suggest that to the management.
our premium cabana is 2800, superior is 2600 and deluxe is 2400.
@mfalk75: if i had d chance, i’d probably dress up as a fairy or a roman goddess..haha
