Thanks, Jennifer. Some very useful tips there. Not sure about that showering at night will remove the need to do it again in the morning in hot, sweaty countries but it is nice to go to bed feeling clean.

ah, that can be confusing. Wordpress.com I guess does not. I use wordpress.org where you actually install the software on your own server and have complete control over everything.
So you were accepted to Adsense? Can I ask how long it took from sign up to acceptance?

Hi, it was the same day, after I finally gave them an address they could recognise (think they need to work on that). However, it’s only provisional pending my uploading the code onto my website and them checking it out to see if it’s acceptable.
