Lets face it, sometimes the ideas just aren’t coming and you find yourself at a loss on what to write about?  You need something or somebody to jump start your thinking!  Everyone share a idea here to help give others a swift kick in the right direction :)  I’ll start.

So recently Jenny contacted me and wanted to change her assignment to something more relevant to the calendar, “International Womens Day”.  This was a great idea and the post Demon Blockers – A Women’s Travel Story was born :)  So, it got me thinking, there is lots of international days out there!  Here is a nifty website where you can go and check out any particular day for cultural events.  Example:  Today is Earth Day :)  Maybe a post about some of the most notable celebrations of Earth Day is in order.

Note:  Even if You don’t publish on the right day, as long as it’s close that’s OK and you can simply say something like “March 8th was International Women’s Day and to commemorate that, this is a women’s travel story.” – Jenny posted on March 9th.

So what’s your idea?  Share it with us :)

Hi Mike! I have thought about that calendar also and that’s a good way to get something worked up.

As for me, I usually browse through my photo gallery to check on good things to write. Since I’m a shutterbug ever since I was young so I do have thousands and thousands of pictures on my laptop (my laptop memory is quite low already due to these pictures).  So I pick the photos first before I choose what to write. :)

@demonyika (Wynna), thanks for sharing your great idea.  Photos can always bring back some memories and that’s a fine way to jump start the creative process.  On a sadder note, make sure you backup all those files or at least the ones you really cherish Wynna!  I lost thousands of pictures because of my “I know I should backup but I’ll do it tomorrow” mentality.  haha….oh a sad day

Oh no! I also have that kind of mentality. I know I must back it up soon but laziness always gets in the way. haha :D But thank God for Facebook because at least its like a temporary back up for my photos. LOL

Yes, photos really have a sweet way of reminding you of certain memories. I’m doin’ it again for this week’s post. :)
