Tiffany! Oh boy, I'm glad to hear from a fellow bookworm. How nice could it be if it was a cruise ship, I'll probably take a week or two onboard. But the ship only travels with its crew and staff. They will dock to a whole new port every 2-3 weeks. Hope Logos Hope will also visit your place. :)

That is sooo neat! I could just imagine how thrilled you must've been, being a fellow book lover, I was smiling just reading the article! Is this like a regular cruise ship where people can ride it to other destinations or it stays on dock and leaves with just the crew when it's time to go somewhere else?

Thanks guys! @ Dana...I was really shocked that such a huge piece of architectural history managed to stay in such great shape. If I would have saw someone who worked there I definitely would've asked how that was possible. @Edwin...I pictured the Gladiator movie as well! (unfortunately for me, no Russel Crowe haha) There's another city, Jerash, that actually has some sort of Gladiator show so I'm excited to go see that sometime soon. I'll make sure to capture lots of pictures for you!

Good luck Mr. Edwin! Hope you'll enjoy your journey to Apo Island. DO bring your underwater cam, it's worth it. Too bad I forgot to bring mine last time. :D

Hi Tiffany, I believe most people would think that those pictures are somewhere in Rome at a first glance, that’s my first impression about it. It’s really an awesome place which reminds me of the movie Gladiator. :)

Hi Tiffany, I really enjoyed reading your post. It is really great to see ancient structures that are slightly damaged. I salute the authorities who are maintaining the place.

Apo Island is still in my hit list this year. There's just so many places to go to in the Philippines for diving and snorkeling. So far my best is Tubbataha Reef, but whenever I feel the itch I go to Anilao for a quickie and it still never fails to amaze me!

Hi Edwin! I ran through your exchange of words with Mr. Elmer and I can't help myself but comment about Apo Island. Been there just last year, and it's totally AMAZING! just a meter or two from the shore you can see 5 ft corals and many more. Your eyes will be very busy by the time you dip yourself in the water. :)
