How much will I make?

OK, first things first.  How will I get paid? We use AdSense, Googles Advertisement application and so will you.  Once you sign up you will get a unique publishing I.D that you will enter into your Gear Up and Play Author Interface.  Whenever you post a article the page in which your article shows will display 4 advertisements.  The content of the Advertising is automatically generated to be relevant to your post and will include your pub-I.D.  These advertisements appear at the top under the navigation bar, in between post title and content, and the end of the post next to your author profile.  Note: Currently this is the setup but we sometimes change this in a attempt to optimize Ad positions.  When a visitor to the site clicks your Ad, you get paid.  Note: Clicking on your own Ads will get you terminated from Google Adsense and you will make no money.

How much will I get? At this point, because we are new, we are accepting content at 100% of the AdSense revenue your post generates.  That means you get 100%!  This will likely change in the future to 75% but you can secure your rate of 100% for life bye contributing before the switch.

OK, so I get 100% but how much is that going to amount to? This isn’t a get rich quick scheme or any other type of propaganda.  In fact, most likely you will not get rich and you will have to work at it and it might take some time.  You probably won’t make enough to call this a living.  Instead, right now, at this point, you will probably just make enough to help meet some bills at the end of the month.  For now, its sub income, a little extra spending money, whatever you want to call it.  Still, the potential for growth is there.  Here is the 2008 pay scale as reported by Problogger.net in a post titled How Much Money Do Bloggers Make Blogging? These are monthly figures.

blog-earnings-October-2008

What do those numbers mean for us? As you can see more then 50% are making less than 100 dollars a month.  This is not ideal for me or for you so it means in order for this project to be successful we need to be better and work harder than at least 50% of the blogs out there.  Ideally, this is my goal as well as it should be yours.  Together we can make it happen but it will take some work.  I mean lets be honest, if you come here and post one post and never post again your earnings will probably not be much.  On the other hand if you post 100 articles over time, the chance of traffic hitting your pages and converting into Ad clicks are alot greater.

So remember, with hard work comes great rewards.

Happy Blogging
